Mark on Love

In choosing love or fear,

I aimed my bow

at the wrong target

I spent effort

releasing arrows toward

solid blocks of ice continents,

creating sharp edges,

til the mass broke away

shouting its victory

chant of isolation.

My new inquiry is

to make the mark

on love

Let the heartfield

energize my flow

of tears

Wake my prana

for joy and purpose

Watch the rivers flood

as the gates

wash away

with no sense

of remembrance

Kneel with thankfulness

overflowing

as Grace and laughter

enter my heart.
